Industrial Equipment Service Assistant
Title:
Industrial instrument repairer helper (for oil field equipment)
Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Location:
Based out of Edmonton, but must be required to work in northern Alberta and BC for long periods of time. Urban areas, rural areas, in shop.
Skill Requirements:
Education:
Completion of high school, some university is an asset.
Credentials (minimum):
Drivers License, Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, Fall Prevention, Forklift Operation, WHMIS, Petroleum Safety Training
Experience:
Greater than 1 year.
Languages:
English
Specializations:
Familiarity with oilfield equipment and drilling rig setups, graphic design experience, ability to service and/or troubleshoot incinerator burners
Security and Safety:
Driver’s License validity check, pre-job drug and alcohol test
Own Tools/Equipment Required:
Standard PPE with the exception of hard hat and coveralls
Working Conditions and Physical Conditions:
Ability to handle material up to 23 kg (50 lbs.), physically demanding, manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment:
Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty
