The high pressure wash pump helps maintain a clean and safe working environment, even when drilling with oil based mud. Used for the maintenance of shale shaker screens when drilling, usually at high ROP, washing helps prevent blinding of screens and the loss of valuable drilling fluid. The was gun can also be used as a secondary wash pump on silicate based drilling fluid, boosting a rigs ability to keep clean of highly abrasive and hard to clean silicate mud.
